The adjustment factor is used to adjust for different roadway widths in order to provide good manoeuvring facilities to user.
To edit, go to Options > Parameters > Design > Superelevation > edit ‘Adjustment Factor of No. of lanes’
Example:
As shown in image 3, the spiral is not the same due to the ‘Adjustment factor’.
Total number of lanes = 4
Spiral length = 28.5 m x 1.5 (from adjustment factor table for total number of lanes = 4) = 42.75m
